Our Story

Soulful Body & Mind began in 2016 with a love for herbalism, holistic living, and the belief that the things we bring into our lives should have meaning.

What started with herbs, handcrafted teas, natural wellness products, and a passion for helping others has grown and evolved right alongside our family. Over the years, Soulful has taken many forms, but one thing has never changed: we follow what feels meaningful, intentional, and true to us.

Today, our little family-owned shop is a blend of two worlds we genuinely love — vintage and antique treasures alongside the herbal, botanical, and holistic roots that started it all.

Our growing passion for antiques and vintage pieces came naturally. We fell in love with the hunt, the history, the craftsmanship, and the idea that beautiful things from the past deserve another chapter. There is something incredibly special about finding an object that has already lived a life, learning what we can about its story, and helping it find the next home where it will be appreciated.

Our shop is now filled with an ever-changing collection of vintage and antique home décor, brass and glass, old-world treasures, ornate pieces, curiosities, estate finds, and those wonderfully unusual things you simply don't find in modern stores.

But our apothecary roots remain woven into everything we do.

Herbalism and holistic living are where Soulful began, and they continue to be something we deeply love. You'll still find our herbal teas, botanical offerings, natural wellness goods, and thoughtfully selected products throughout the shop. To us, these two sides of Soulful aren't separate — they belong together.

Both are about returning to something a little slower, more intentional, and more connected.

A Family Business

Behind Soulful Body & Mind is a real family.

This business has grown with us, changed with us, challenged us, and become part of our family's story. Our children have grown up around the shop, and much of what we do is truly a family effort — from treasure hunting and sourcing to rearranging the shop, packing orders, preparing for events, and dreaming up what comes next.

We aren't a big-box store, and we don't want to be.

We are a small, independent business built through years of hard work, creativity, change, and a whole lot of heart. When you shop with us, attend an event, purchase from one of our vendors, join one of our live sales, or simply tell someone about our shop, you're supporting a family and a community of other small businesses doing what they love.

And that means more to us than we could ever fully put into words.

Our Vision

Our vision for Soulful Body & Mind is to create something that feels less like a traditional retail store and more like an experience — a modern-day vintage apothecary, treasure shop, and gathering place.

A space where you can wander.

Where an old brass candlestick might sit beside an herbal tea blend. Where handmade goods from a local artisan share space with century-old treasures. Where you never quite know what you'll discover when you walk through the door.

We want Soulful to be a place that encourages curiosity, creativity, connection, and a little bit of magic in everyday life.

As we continue evolving, we'll keep hunting for beautiful old things, blending herbs and teas, supporting fellow small businesses, hosting gatherings and events, sharing treasures online, and creating a shop that feels unmistakably Soulful.

Our story started with the earth, herbs, healing, and community.

Now we're adding a little more history, patina, brass, glass, and treasure hunting to the adventure.
